How We Help

Through your monetary donation, the help of community volunteers and working with local businesses and organizations. CVSG is able to fund home repairs like plumbing, electrical, modifications for wheelchairs, and roofing to name a few. Things that are beyond the ability for an ElderVet to pay. Allowing these men and women who left home, jobs, school, and family behind to answer our Nation’s call to defend democracy here and abroad to stay in their own homes for as long as possible.

Step 1:

Elder Vet or Widow in need is put in touch with CVSNC and the form for assistance is submitted.

Step 2:

CVSNC verifies applicants information and extent of aid needed.

Step 3:

CVSNC provides the necessary funds for the repair and/or maintenance need for the home.

Step 4:

CVSNC maintains a relationship with the Elder Vet or Widow in an effort to keep them in their home for as long as safely possible.
